Caregiver in Mary Chiles College
Over the past decade, there was an increased need for caregivers locally and internationally.
In response to this demand, Mary Chiles College opted to offer the Caregiver Training Course which complies with TESDA’s training regulations as stated in the Certificate of TVET Program Registration WTR No. 13-10153 Series of 2001, now WTR 2012 130 222 49.
The MCC Caregiver course is patterned after the Canadian Live-In Caregiver Program requirements as to the class size, lecture hours and number of weeks of training. It consists of modules that focus on the basic, common and core competencies that a caregiver should possess.
For the on-the job-training, students are assigned and trained in the Adult and Pediatric Ward of Mary Chiles Gen Hospital wherein they are able to apply the knowledge and skills they learned during class lectures.
Upon completion of the course, our students are equipped not only with the required competencies to perform the duties and responsibilities but as well as with the wholesome attitude of a caring, competent and compassionate professional caregiver as they provide services in a private household or healthcare institution.
Enroll now and join our caregiver graduates who are now gainfully employed here and abroad!
