The Chilean White Lighter is the official student publication of Mary Chiles College that upholds the development and promotion of campus journalism as a means of strengthening ethical values, encouraging critical and creative thinking, and developing moral character and personal discipline of the student journalists in the college.

The Chilean White Lighter, recognizing its role and commitment to the Chilean community, is fashioned to produce a quality school publication, which is truthful, accurate and fair for the public interest.
